It’s the 5th and final day of our National Consumer Protection Week (NCPW) celebration! We’ve already given away four amazing prize bundles, full of amazing products from direct selling companies, and today we’re giving away one more! We’ve also been highlighting some of the amazing resources available on the web to help you make informed choices as a consumer and business owner.

Each day this week, we’ve posted a question. When you use the NCPW resources we’ve provided to answer the question, you’ll be entered to win an amazing gift tote full of products from a number of generous companies in the direct sales industry. We’ve provided some bonus entry options as well.

  21. I think the overall best resource is learning/understanding identify theft. In this day and age of so much electronic/internet it’s important to know how to protect yourself and your business. I also was very interested in the investing.

  26. I liked so many of the topics. I enjoyed reading more about identity theft and the many different forms. But I was also interested in learning about the different types of buying plans. That was an interesting topic.

    Reading about the fraud id in health care has helped as I’m previously referred to as preexisting heart patient, helps to keep an eye out and where to look even with such a short time frame that I noted in the article. Didn’t realize it was so close.

  34. My favorite resource was the information for online job seekers. I never thought about a scam artist stealing my personal information there. Oops! I never knew to check to see if my resume could be completely deleted from a website. Good info!

    With a 15 year old in the house, any information to help with cyberbullying is helpful ~ also identity theft ranks right up there as really scary stuff…..

  66. I think the best part of the resourses page are the videos on the code of ethics. They provide good information that’s easy to learn and they are instructional. My goal is to follow the code of ethics and have it be my business mantra.

    I was hacked a couple of months ago and did not know it until the bank sent me information about my debit card. I really enjoyed the banking ias well as the identity theft information. All of the various topics contained very valuable information.

    In general, I liked all the descriptions about every topic, and in special the Hacked Email, because the use of emails is a current event that I made all the time, with technology like my phone, laptop or tablet; know these information make me understand that the mail for more security that the web page have one hacker can made false emails and made very bad consequences to my company because I send and receive important documents of my job that can prejudice to all my contacts.

  87. I got a lot of information from the videos on the code of ethics. My practices fall in line with what I was seeing and for that I am thankful. It is comforting to know that all companies are adhering to the same guidelines. It puts us all on a level paying field.
